FIBROSCAN®
HOW IT WORKS
The scan is performed by placing a small probe on the skin over your liver, while you lay on the examination bed. The examination takes approximately 5–10 minutes, requires no needles or sedation, and you can return to your normal activities immediately afterwards.
Results are available straight away and can be discussed with your GP or specialist.

UNDERSTANDING YOUR RESULTS
Your FibroScan® report provides two key measurements:
Liver Stiffness Measurement (LSM)
The Liver Stiffness Measurement (LSM) assesses the degree of liver scarring (fibrosis).
Results are classified into fibrosis stages:
- F0: No fibrosis
- F1: Mild fibrosis
- F2: Moderate fibrosis
- F3: Advanced fibrosis
- F4: Cirrhosis
CAP Score (Controlled Attenuation Parameter)
The CAP score measures the amount of fat within the liver.
Results are classified into steatosis grades:
- S0: No significant fatty liver
- S1: Mild fatty liver
- S2: Moderate fatty liver
- S3: Severe fatty liver
These measurements help your healthcare provider better understand your liver health and determine whether further investigation, treatment, or monitoring is required.

Body Composition Analysis
HOW IT WORKS

Using advanced Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) technology, the assessment takes just a few minutes and involves standing barefoot on a specialised analyser. A safe, painless electrical signal is used to estimate the proportions of fat, muscle, bone, and water within the body.
Results are available immediately and can be used to track progress over time, monitor the effects of lifestyle changes, and support weight management and overall health goals.
